JoeyandDavid
I would like this to be a serious discussion.. I know everyone or most would love to do a world cruise.. but in reality that just isn't possible.. for this discussion lets say you are in charge of planning the next CruiseCrazies group cruise.. where you get to pick the itinerary and length of cruise.. so tell us.....What would you come up with? (who knows it could happen!)
coloradocruisers
Joey, there's so many places I haven't been yet; but of all those places, I'd love to visit Antarctica.
lashl
You have already planned it. OUr favorites are the eastern and southern carribean. Have never been on a cruise longer than 8 days but the cruise would have to be at least 7 days.
Joanandjoe
First we'd have to find one at a time and place that we could take. Our two dream cruises are British Isles and Norwegian fjords; but there are almost no cruises to these places on lines that cater to Americans. The few cruises that are given tend to be in August or early September, which are impossible times for me. Of cruises that are commonly offered, we'd pick Eastern Med. very early or late in the season. Not surprisingly for people who've given up on the Caribbean due to the heat, from mid-June to early October, the Med. (Eastern or Western) is too hot for us. Joey, Joey, look at a map. The Eastern Mediterranean is way south of the Baltic, with most of Europe in between. No, we don't mean St. Petersburg. Joan's family fled from Russian Pogroms about 100 years ago, and Joan grew up with the expresseion "Mother Russia - better to be an orphan." We have no interest in a Baltic cruise. zebra
We would love to do Australia/New Zealand - but it must be longer than 7 days.
RNSANE
I would definitely not do a Caribbean cruise as I've done far too many of them. I would like whatever sailing to be at least 12 - 14 days, perhaps Australia - New Zealand, or the capitals of Scandinavia - though I've done both before..it's just time for a repeat. sailingrose
I still have lots of place to go on my list too but I think Australlia would be tops and for at least 2 weeks.
