zebra
When you get back from a cruise, what is the one thing that you promise yourself that you will not do again? We all learn from the previous cruise, don't we?
cruisetarp
When we get home I always swear I will not overpack again. Then I go and pack even more the next time. I also promise not to eat at least 2 and sometimes 3 breakfasts once I hit dry land.

I keep promising myself I/we will hold our OB charges down.. but each cruise I find myself saying.. if you want it get it!
Gregswife
The not overpacking thing is not going to happen, even though Greg wishes it would as he has to haul my huge suitcase and then also my shoe suitcase and my toiletries bag around. The not overspending isn't going to happen either - doesn't happen at home, isn't going to happen on vacation. So, I guess I would have to go with the eating thing. After every meal onboard, I swear I will never eat again and then in a few hours, we are back at it again!!!
TheSkipper
Only thing I can think of is "never wait so long between cruises."
zebra
For us one of the things is: After attending the disembarkation meeting onboard on our first cruise - we have promised ourselves that we don't need to waste good sailing time by attending that again, so for the subsequent 17 sailing's we did other things at that time - after all they put the details in the paper and also send instructions to the room. I only go if the disembarkation port is in a locale that i havent dealt with before
