I was a little timid to post in some of the forum categories when I first joined. I guess I was afraid of posting in the wrong place. (That lasted about 1 second!)

Jason has done an incredible job. This is an excellent site and I thoroughly enjoy meeting everyone and learning all your personalities.

....We used to have an icon that showed if that member was online at that time or not, and I really miss that...

The little icon next to your screen name is in color if you're online and kind of greyish when you're not.

thanks Deb - I didn't even realize that was there....

DUH! thanks Deb! I didn't know that either!

maybe another suggestion would be for Jason to supply a link for new members to the daily dock in his welcome message to them....that way they could click and jump right over and join in!!!

Back to the question...my favorite feature is the Daily Dock.

least favorite - well, don't really have one...if there is something I don't want to be a part of I just don't go there...so no problem... :cool2:

One feature I wish Jason would add is something there is on another board that lets you know if you have posted in a particular thread...shows a little arrow or something like that in the tread...somethimes in the welcomes and such (when i get around to doing them) I forget which ones I have done and haven't and that would be a help if I had some kind of indication I had already posted in a particular thread...

All in All everything is great and I AM SO HAPPY to be back! Thank you Jason!

Thank you all for your feedback. I have been able to incorporate/implement the following changes:

- Renamed the "CruiseCrazies Connections" forum to "Daily Dock."

- The "Meeting Hall" will soon be renamed....new name is currently TBD.

- A link (upon signup) for new members to join the daily dock: Implemented!

55ChevyLady - There already is a way to tell if you have posted in a particular thread. When you are looking at the list of topic titles within any forum, there's a column to the right titled "Replies." Next to each topic, the number within this column states how many members have replied to this topic, and if you click the number (it's a link), you'll see a listing of all members who have replied to the topic. This prevents you from having to open the topic and search for any reply you may have already posted.

Jason, thank you. I never knew that. What a great tool. You are awesome.

Because I'm somewhat a bit of a 'lurker' I don't visit many sights other than Forums. However this evening I have a little more time on the computer as my wife is at a Pilates class!!! A lot has happened in my life today and when I read The Dock, I thought that would be a wonderful place to open one's thoughts.

I can't really say what is my favourite section as of yet, but I would like to see cruise and ship reviews in a better format with comments underneath the review from other Crazies-if any. I know I have learn't so much from other cruise site ship reviews-most of which were very interesting and informative

Regards,

James.

Thanks, Jason. I never realized that before. Since you posted this I've been having fun looking at it and seeing if whether or not I've posted.

Jason, thank you for the orange box to the left of the topic. I'm a wee bit slow in this computer era. Took me all this time to figure out that it meant a few things: takes me to the post after I have posted or indicates that I haven't read and/or posted in that topic. You are a genius!
