What do you take along for downtime?

Like pretty much everyone else we take books and our MP3 player which we use for music in our stateroom.

We usually take our kids, and that takes care of the free time. Also like to people watch.

Deck of cards for games....

The Rummy-O - a gin rummy tile game 2 to 4 at a time.

Maybe a book to read from time to time.

Whilst Donna enjoys her CD's and headset I lay there and enjoy the sounds of the ship!

Books are numero uno.

I also love to sit on the balcony and just stare.

If I am up on deck with a book, I am usually asleep. Come to think of it, when I'm on the balcony with a book, I'm usually asleep.

When cruising, what do you take along to keep you occupied when you're just relaxing on deck or in your cabin?

I always take a couple of good books along and I always take my crocheting. Aside from keeping me occupied when just relaxing, they help keep my hands off of food, at least sometimes.

Well I usually take a book or two but rarely read them!! I'm a sunbather! On deck I have my towel,sunglasses, headrest,sun tan lotion and baseball cap!!I do occasionally, prior to dinner, whilst my wife is getting ready sit on our balcony,read maybe a chapter or two. At bedtime I usually watch the in cabin T.V. or read the plans for next day from the ship's daily.Oh the luxury of it all!!! LOL
