I usually take 2 different ties for my tux. I do all of my own packing, but after reading this thread, I should get Cindy to do all of the packing. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Sorry, that was Cindy laughing at that suggestion.

One year Marcy's son forgot his shoes (he borrowed a pair and stuffed the toes because they were too big). Another year, the husband of another friend forgot his shirts (they were on the ironing board). We made a fast stop to K-Mart in LA and he bought 2 shirts.

If Jerry packed his own clothes, I'm not sure what would make it in the suitcase. He's very good about asking what I packed, but not good on the organizational end.

We've been the route where Tony packed without my supervision - got to the hotel in Ft. Lauderdale to find that he hadn't packed one shirt!!! Just as well the Mall was nearby..... moral of the story - I oversee his packing and do most of the choosing of what he is going to wear :thumbup: As we are planners, he chooses which two shirts he will wear on formal nights and then we select matching ties.... done deal!! Just 2.

One for each formal night matched to the shirt. It's the only time all year I wear a tie.
