zebra
Do you have a deck preference when booking a cruise? Maybe you like being high up on the ship, or maybe height equates to more movement for you... what is your personal preference?

boba
We bargain hunt, so it doesn't matter to us. Just get me on the ship.
lashl
We prefer the middle balcony floors. Easy to go up or down.
sailingrose
mid ship or aft.......deck 7 to 10 usually depending on the ship
Gregswife
Has to be mid-ship, anywhere from deck 6-8. We were on 8 last year on the Conquest and were directly under the Lido pool. We were surprised that we didn't hear much noise from there at all. The main thing we heard was early in the morning, when they would clean the decks, we would hear them scooting the chairs around. We booked the Conquest again on our next cruise, and I chose deck 6 (would have chosen 7, but it was all suites in the mid ship area). elfed
Interesting question this.Normally we book a balcony-anywhere! Forward, aft, mid-it doesn't matter. We do like the Lido deck staterooms as they are usually on the same level as the pools. On our next cruise next week-end on the Sapphire Princess I splurged and booked a suite at the very back of the ship overlooking the wake. This is located on Caribe deck 2 decks down from the Terrace Pool. As I love to stare at the sea for relaxation I'm hoping this view from the Caribe neck will be very theraputic!! Regards, James.

KeithnRita
We always book mid-ship and high or low does not matter that much. Most of the time we end up on one off the lower decks. For our next cruise we are one deck below the lido deck.
TheSkipper
We prefer low in the ship and mid-ship. When we can't get that we will move aft. Makes for a direct elevator ride to breakfast and lunch.
