Also there was another surprise. There is a singing group called Il Divo. Now I apologize if I offend anyone but I never heard of them but they are very popular. They sing what I call modern classics. Well Oprah said she heard one of their CD's the night b4 and said "wherever they are find them." :biggrin: As it happened they had just finished a tour and were in Mexico about to board a plane home, Rome for one of them and other places in Europe for the others, when they got the call. Well the next think you know they are live in Chicago at 0900 the next morning on Oprah, sang one song(Amazing Grace) accompanied by a small orchestra and a lone bagpiper and off they went. I wonder what it cost Oprah to have them cut short their return home and reroute them to Chicago for a 5 min. performance. :biggrin: Anyway she can afford it. :cool2:

I saw the show yesterday. Congrats on getting the Kindle. I've been hemming and hawing about getting one myself because I'm a big reader. This would be right up my alley. I'm just wondering if it's like the iPhone...the next generation of them will be better, and i should wait until it comes out.

Our VISA is tied to amazon.com and I have enough credits right now to get one for free, so price is not the problem. Just wondering if there are any glitches. Let us know how your son likes it. Again, congratulations!

Yes it would be ideal for a cruise, a long flight, etc. I will post back in time about how my son likes it. I do know Oprah is crazy about it. :biggrin:
