shipaddict
That is too sad! But a little funny! You wouldn't believe how many hats DH lost off the back of our ski boat when we had it! Now if you had had a ponytail like I do, that would have acted as an anchor to keep that danged hat on!
cruisetarp
Howard - Shipaddict had a perfect solution for you. You have 1 year to buy a new hat and grow a pony tail before ConnieGoesCrazie.

sailingrose
Sorry about the hat Howard but the picture was worth it!
Gregswife
That's a great pic Howard. How fitting for a Cruise Crazy hat to be afloat on the sea. Greg had a Panama Jack hat that he wore on every trip (it was his "vacation" hat). He had pins all over from the various places we had travelled to, on it. While standing on the dock in St. Maarten, it blew off his head and into water - he went running down the pier and I was afraid he was going to jump in after it. 3 years ago, for our anniversary, I bought the same hat from Panama Jack's website, and thru the miracle of the internet, was able to buy pins from all the places he had pins from before. Now when he is walking near the water, he always has a hold of his hat!!!
elfed
If it ever reaches the St. Lawrence here in Canada I'll pick it up for you!!! Big fear of mine is losing one of my caps at sea. I do a lot of video taping early mornings and sometimes the winds are very strong especially on the lido, star and sky decks. I make sure my baseball cap is very tight and pulled low down close to my eyebrows just leaving enough vision to film!! Regards, James. DebbieandJerry
Jerry lost his UofA hat in St Kitts last November. I wonder if the two hats are now sailing side-by-side? Kinda like the missing socks from the washer to the dryer? Great picture!
55ChevyLady
You could think of it as a "burial at sea" Sorry about your hat...
