NCL dangles onboard credit, chance at a free cruise, to spur bookings

Some of the only good news coming from the down economy is the abundance of cruise deals.

The latest comes from Norwegian Cruise Line, which is offering passengers up to $500 back in on-board credit depending on the length of cruise and the cabin category booked.

Book an NCL cruise between now and February 1 and get from $50 for an inside cabin, to $500 for a suite or villa, in on-board credit on cruises of six days or more. On cruises of three to five days, you can get back $35 to $150 in on-board credit.

NCL is tying this Freestyle Resolution sale into a contest they are having asking people to share their New Year’s resolutions. From Dec. 30 to Feb. 28, NCL reps will hit the streets in its home turf of South Florida asking cruisers to declare their New Year’s resolutions, while also giving them the chance to win a four-day Bahamas cruise on the Norwegian Sky.

The contest is not just for Floridians; anyone can enter by logging onto www.nclresolutions2009.com starting Dec. 30. Winners will be chosen randomly.
