I have cruised with and without friends.

If you saw me on ship you would wonder who hangs with this nut case.

But I find a few of my type and off I go.

Marcy and I are so touched by your thoughtfulness. You guys truly are a wonderful group of friends. Yes, our hope is to be able to pick a cruise for all four of us (and perhaps a few of you guys, too) once the economy perks back up.

So sorry that your friends had to cancel - I guess for many of us, in this economic time, we need to be spending money wisely. But they are your friends and as soon as things look brighter I am sure that the 4 of you will be sailing together again. Yes it would be wonderful to be able to meet you both as well.... maybe one day we can get ALL our Crazie buddies together on a cruise!

I am so sorry Marcy and James had to cancel...wonderful they were able to get a full refund! I am sure they were very disappointed as you are as well.

Anybody up to a last minute cruise on the Ecstasy? not exactly a ultra luxury boat but she will get you there and back...LOL and I am a laugh a minute...and more...LOL

Debbie...I'm so sorry that Marcy and James had to cancel. Hopefully, they will be able to go again, soon, with you. We cruised a couple of times with our friends, and they had to cancel out of one of our last cruises. We did miss them, but I'm sure they will want to go again.

You are all right on about best friends and friendship. I still "consult" Marcy on a daily basis about what "we should do", "what I should pack", etc., etc. She and James will be with us in mind and in spirit the entire time. As a matter of fact, I pity the folks who are going to hear, "boy if our best friends were here", or "Our cruising buddies weren't able to join us"

Now, if I could only get Jerry to commit to spending some (exercise) time with me during the day! That's a laugh. I love the outdoors, he loves the indoors (i.e., casino). Guess that's why cruises are so enjoyable to us. He did say that he might walk around the ship a couple of times. Now, that was after some huge coaxing on my part!!

Indeed it is sad that we are unable to go on this cruise. But I asure you guys it won't be our last. We just have to get through theses bad times first. We are looking forward to planning our next cruise with Debbie and Jerry. They are the BEST. Thanks everyone
