cruisingcats
For me it starts the day I book the cruise. No, really it starts the day we leave.
KeithnRita
Pretty much the same as most--when we go out the door either driving or flying to our cruise port.
deb1220
I agree with others that the vacation starts the moment you pull out of the driveway but the cruise starts when we're all settled on the ship I just wish I was there RIGHT NOW! mercedes
The minute I step on board.
jacketwatch
I agree with others that the vacation starts the moment you pull out of the driveway but the cruise starts when we're all settled on the ship I just wish I was there RIGHT NOW! Tell me about it! We leave in one mo. but now its battling chill factors of -30F tonight. Geesh. I keep dreaming of sunny Acapulco two days precrusise and actually sweating OUTSIDE vs. just in the rec. center these days. Bring on the sun!!! DebbieandJerry
My cruise begins the moment we book it. I am forever planning (and chanig my mind) what I am going to pack, making lists, buying stuff for the cruise and setting it aside. After that, the 'real' cruise starts the minute we pack the car up with the luggage and head to the airport.
MrsAmanda7
My cruise begins when I gaze at the ship from afar. I love the sight of the enormity of the ship. Gives me goosebumps. Anyway, I'm with Jacketwatch on the cold watch. The 20 to 30 below wind chills are brutal. I'm a teacher and school is canceled tomorrow. I'd much rather be baksing in the sun. boba
I'm with Amanda. As soon as I see the ship, I'm on vacation. I figure if i can see the ship, I can get to it one way or another.
