Imagine if you will...You have browsed all the itinerary's on your favorite lines, you make your decision as to which cruise you want to book... you book it... Then....

What is the first thing you do NEXT?

Start checking out excursions on the islands. I usually download the ship's excursion suggestions and go to the website to see what's available.

I jump up and down and say "I am going on a cruise". Then I check the cruise line website to make sure the booking is there. Makes it more real. Then I start to look at the things one can do at each of the ports. Mind you this is all within a few minutes of each other.

I'm a planner, so I immediately start making lists. I do research online of the ports we will be visiting. I also check out hotels in the city of embarkation and make a reservation there.

After we book I then get a feeling of elation as there is something to look forward to. The I start ot look for airfares and read up about the sites to see.

I find a countdown clock and then mark it on my calendar at work.

I begin researching every port we will visit especially if it is a new one for us and find tour options and things to do.

After jumping up and down I start taking inventory of my "cruisewear" - start catalog shopping and trying things on etc.....

Then the "to do lists" start and then researching the ports. I could go on....but I won't!
