Looking for a deal on a summer vacation with the kids? The good news from Norwegian Cruise Line today is that it's extending its recent Freestyle Resolution promotion allowing children to sail for as little as $99.

NCL says families now have until March 15 to take advantage of the offer -- valid on many of the line's sailings for summer. The deal also includes up to $250 in on-board credit.

The original Freestyle Resolution promotion ended Feb. 1.

NCL is just one of many cruise lines rolling out unusual deals this winter to jump start sagging bookings. Royal Caribbean also has been rolling out substantial discounts for the spring and summer, as has Carnival.
