Sunbeam
Anything that we should know. We had a bad experinece in March 2006 when we took the Riviera Mexican Cruise (11 nights) - loved the itinerary but I was sick with Norovirus the day that we left the ship . The water came from the mexican side.

I am wondering if the water is good on the ship, because they took water in from Mexico in March 2006 and people got really sick (Norovirus). But since it departs from Vancouver it should be OK??? YES???

YES??? yes ...but sunbeam i believe the celebrity ships produce their own drinking water through huge osmosis machines on board..where did you get the idea that they "imported" water from local ports?? if i am not mistaken .. most norovirus comes form unsanitary people.. (ie:going to the bathroom not washing their hands and then touching things throughout the ship).. now i may be wrong.. but I don't think it was the water.. Sunbeam
It just when I went through such a rough virus and I saw the pipes pumping water in the ship, I really thought it was water from Mexico. I never thought it was caused by cruise guests. I guess I must very naive.....
