Curious on flights

I am curious on how Celebrity will get us to Vancouver. I will have to wait a bit before I find out.

As we are canadians, living near Ottawa, we usually leave from Ottawa. I know that there is a direct flight with a canadian company to Vancouver. Celebrity usually has flights on american company. That would be too funny if we would have this flight: Ottawa-Chicago (american customs) / Chicago-Vancouver (canadian customs). :unsure:

I don't know the direct answer to your question. If you booked through a Travel Agency, you might want to give them a call and ask them if Celebrity has a preferred airline. The very few times that we booked air with the cruiseline, we were told that they couldn't give us the exact itinerary, but they could tell us, "Continental Airlines, Tucson to Houston, Houston to Ft Lauderdale." We were then able to at least look at the Continental Airline schedule and get an idea of what was out there.

That would be pretty funny to have to fly to US and then fly back to Canada. But I guess it's no different than some of our Tucson to LA flights via DENVER!

I sent an e-mail yesterday to custom air arrangements of Celebrity asking them how long in advance can we make flights arrangements? And we would like to have a direct flight from Ottawa to Vancouver in the morning. How can I get in touch with somebody?

Well, was I ever shocked when I got an e-mail from them that said: sure you can and they forwarded that e-mail (I was only CCed) to the compagny that is booking my trip with an additional $400. The flights were mentionned and additional costs.

Now Custom air arrangements and Captain's club do not want to speak to me because I am booked through a travel agent; but it was funny that they were in a rush to take care of my initial e-mail????

I phoned and e-mailed my travel agent. I do not want to pay more than what I signed for on Saturday.
