In an attempt to increase profitability most cruise lines have began enacting new charges for it's geuests...Considering all the on-board charges we are faced with today ..What would you consider the most frivolous charge the lines have recently enacted?

I really can't think of just one! I don't like that you have to pay for headphones just to watch the onboard movie. And I don't like having to pay for a soft drink and a little bag of pretzels.......to name a couple!

Can't think of anything that really disturbs us. Cruising is still the best vacation around, IMHO. We don't play bingo, gamble, do many ship peddled shore excursions, drink very much, buy ice cream or much of anything else. Jeeez, I don't know why they keep letting us on board

I have to chuckle at the folks who flock to the "special coffee station" that has "special desserts" and actually pay for them. I'm like a lot of you that have already posted, don't need it, don't want it, don't buy it.

But, there must be a demand for these things (specialty restaurants, coffee bars, dessert bars, etc). Why else would ships have them and why else would people pay for them?

We, too, feel that a cruise is the best bang for the buck. All-inclusives don't work for us because we don't drink. Which goes to show why we don't gravitate towards those types of vacations.
