To what degree does the ship determine your next cruise

Cruiseline is probably our first choice since we have sailed the caribbean many times.

Our Europe trip was chosen by itinerary with ship 2nd.

The ship is a factor, but only one of several. Like others have said, the cruise line is also a factor as is the itinerary and the price. If everything is equal, it may come down to the ship, but most times to the line.

We're looking at Oasis for 2010 but usually it's a matter of itinerary, cost, ship, etc... :cool2:

Cruise line is a huge factor for us - we started as avid Princess fans, tried HAL, Disney, Celebrity and Carnival inbetween and enjoyed all but Carnival but then we tried Royal Caribbean, that was a mistake :laugh: we now seem to have a new favorite cruise line. So to answer your question, the ship makes a HUGE difference to our choice of cruise. Like Rose has said... we have done the Caribbean so many times, now when we choose a ship going there it has to be one that we really want to go on. The only exception to our rule would be Europe/Transatlantic cruises which we definitely choose by itinerary.
