GottaCruz
I remember when my parents sailed the Ecstasy and came home and showed us photos. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. I think that was before we had ever cruised. I remember being very impressed. I think that was one of the motivators for booking our first cruise on the Sensation. Peddler
The old girl (Ecstasy) is showing her age though...She is, so I've read in several palces, going for an extensive dry dock of about 4 weeks ... That's a long time this day and time. She has had some continuing propulsion problems and hopefully these will get repaired and well as the many, many, many upgrades that they are doing. TheSkipper
Our first cruise was aboard Carnival's Mardi Gras, now that is going back in time. We too have sailed the Ecstasy on a 4 day cruise.

TheSkipper
It was a different era, Joey. No 110 volts in the staterooms. The ladies had to go down the hall to a central room to use hair dryers, curling irons, etc. Sink was in the staterrom and the shower and toilet were not separated, so you had to remember to remove the toilet paper before you used the shower. WOW, as I write this I wonder why I ever went on another cruise??
