JoeyandDavid
Should travel restrictions to Cuba be lifted by the United States?
sailingrose
I would love to see Cuba someday but it won't be for a while yet sorry to say. Howie's parents were brought up in Cuba after emigrating from Poland as babies. They lived there until just before Castro came to power. TheSkipper
My friends, Cuba will become the premier cruise port of the world. Been waiting for years for it to open. I lived and fought in Cuba for 9 months back in the day and grew to love the island and her people. I've seen Havana when she was at her peak. I know the major cruise lines are making plans for the day they are permitted to return.

I would bet at least 3 stops in Cuba. Jamaica will have dried up if they open there.
deb1220
I would love to see Cuba but I'm afraid it's going to be a long wait!
coloradocruisers
Someday, but I don't think it's safe yet. Under a future regime, perhaps; once the Castros are long gone. An American being arrested in Cuba would become an international incident right now. I'd prefer to see stronger diplomatic relations in place first. jacketwatch
Actually I would love to go and now with Obamas latest move I think you will more of a blind eye in terms of US citizens going there through Canada, Mexico, etc. However I red today that Cub ahs insuffucient infrastructure now for the tourists it get, like long waits, shoddy hotels, etc. I think Americans will flock there if the ban is lifted but will Cuba be ready for the onslaught of tourism? DebbieandJerry
I would love to visit Cuba. We "passed" by it on our last Caribbean cruise. It's a beautiful island that was calling to me. I love the music, the culture, the food, the colors. And, I think the locals could use some tourism as a source of income -especially since the last few hurricanes that hit there.
