Fold or Roll?

OK all you accomplished packers. Do you fold or roll your clothes? What are your packing tips?

we pack individual day sets in 2 gallon zip locks and squeeeze out the excess air... (home made vacum bags so to speak..)

Jim folds. I use the large zip locks - one outfit per bag. I've been doing that for a few years now and it is so easy.

I've done that before but never put the clothes in ziplock bags. and for the better clothes maybe put tissue paper in with them.

but how does your men's shirts do?

I have the monster suitcase.

Everything is laid out - except those things that cover the spine of the case - they are underwear and socks folded.

The rest is laid out - pressed - a little spray starch - each layer has a plastic bag between.

This to prevent a lot of wrinkles and to keep them dry in case of some wetness problems on the way from what ever source.

Andrea - Hefty makes the ones I use. They come in a red and yellow box - JUMBO size - 2.5 gallons.

I can easily fit shorts/capris, shirt and underwear in each bag.
