Should cruise lines offer compensation for missed Mexico ports?

OK...I know this is a LONG ways off and I am being WAY over paranoid...but if this flu thing is still going on in Nov. what is everyone's thoughts about the Connie Cruise???

AND will our (my) travel insurance cover us if we choose to cancel????

The Caribbean cruises that have been diverted haven't been hit too bad. If you're really looking forward to Cozumel, then you get affected.

Wow - all kinds of discussions flying around. We are sitting here at LAX having just got off the Mariner of the Seas - a couple just off the Carnival Splendor (they were the ship who pulled into Cabo and then turned around immediately and headed out to sea - we were later docked with them in San Francisco) anyhow speaking with them, they are fed up with Carnival - they were offered to disembark in LA or stay onboard to San Francisco. They stayed and the only thing the ship offered them was ONE FREE DRINK. Unbelievable..... and that comes right from the passengers themselves.
