JoeyandDavid
I hope you like it. Too bad David can't go too. I think you will really like this ship. Do see the ice show and be sure to get a ticket early. The shows are free and the tickets go fast. you are not the first to tell me not to miss the ice show.. is there only one show per sailing?...who has the tickets?.. can i get them day 1 when i embark? sailingrose
Joey the Mariner has a peek a boo bridge that Larry is talking about. Forward right at the end of the Solarium. You have to go outside and then take the stairs down to peek in. Kind of cool. The tickets are available usually the first sea day. It will be in the Compass. I'm sure Carmen can get you a ticket........the concierge will have them and she'll have access to them. Make sure you have a glass of wine in the wine bar in the Promenade on Formal night........great show in itself! LOL Oh yes, the cafe Promenade serves pastry in the morning, sandwiches, pizza, & cookies. It is open on embarkation day. The Seattles best coffee is also there as well as the Ben and Jerry's. jacketwatch
For our 7 night cruise on the AOS there were two shows. We got the tickets once onboard. There were specific times and location when the tickets would be available so check with the pursers when you get onboard. I don't think you can get them ahead of time and doubt they are available on embarkation day. smile:
