rogue
I think that it's a "damned if you do or damned if you don't situation. No matter what they cut back on, there will be people who will not like it. But, then again, if they don't make cuts and go out of business, we won't like that either. In this business environment, there are only lose-lose situations. Personally, if I have to give up my chocolates, or my free drink, then so-be-it. Thanks to everyone for the responses on this question; and Howard, I couldn't have stated my opinion any better than you just did. These lines are not trying to boost their profits right now, they're trying to cut their losses in the toughest economy since most of us were born. My company is doing the same, and we're never "right." We can only hope that someday, when the recession is over, the free market once again requires better service.
