Custom made omelets. They are the best. On the Star they were served in the buffet.

Falina, I can't speak for other lines but Carnival always has an omelet station in the Lido deck buffet. I imagine all cruise lines are pretty muh the same.

Bacon!!!!

Amen sister!! We did the buffet most all mornings but once did the room service thing. We didn't know what we had been missing. Now it's probably room service all the way. We stayed up dancing until three am so it was always hard to get up and get to the buffet. We may actually do the dining room once if the opportunity presents itself this time.

Shaunna, the only problem that we had with the dining room is their hours of operation. By the time we figured out we wanted to be waited on (i.e., dining room), they would be closing for breakfast.

Lynda and I both love a big breakfast which we very seldom have unless we are on a cruise. So we have a big breakfast almost every day on a cruise and at the same time hardly ever eat lunch. The definition of a big breakfast is bacon, eggs, pan cakes/french toast, fruit, small pastry, get the idea?
