Shaunna: You will be able to get on around 11:30, but will not be able to get into you Stateroom until 1 PM. So, your hand luggage will go with you to lunch. Not a big deal, just be aware.

Shaunna, We haven't sailed Carnival for over a year but we were always able to get into our cabins as soon as we boarded, around 12. On Royal Caribbean, we haven't been able to get in till 1. So, maybe they've changed it since we sailed Carnival, but check it out just in case you can drop your stuff off there.

Cheryl: We were on the Valor two weeks ago and ran into the 1PM thing. Although after lunch we just went ahead and sneaked through the fire door and got to our cabin about 12:30.

Skipper, good to know that. I guess things change all the time. Hope to sail the Valor one day. We would do the same as you and try to get our stuff to the cabin, if at all possible.

Hello,

On our last 2 trips we were able to board about 11:30 HOWEVER to echo the Skipper, we were not allowed to our staterooms until 13:30.

I find that ridiculous. I mean in the past they have been able to get directly to the stateroom. Oh well things change.

It is kinda funny though, going to get something to eat and the Lido deck, Everyone running around with their carryons and such. Talk about baby strollers at a craft fair. Wait til you get a load of this!!!!!
