We have sailed on the Sky and only minor observation was that the rooms are smaller than aboard a Carnival ship.

Actually we got off the sky from a mini-suite and walked down the dock and boarded the Carnival Paradise interior room and it was bigger than the room we had just left.

Other than that she was a great ship which I think you will enjoy.

Sailingrose-Thank you so much! As soon as I return on Monday, I'll tell you all about NCL.

DebbieandJerry-Thank you so much! Yes, it's a great deal for a 3 day cruise, and you can't beat that price.

Hazelson-Thank you so much! Yes, it's an incredible deal. I'll tell you all about it when I return & I'll post pictures.

Zebra-Thank you so much! I'll tell you all about it when I return. WOW, so you've cruised on a lot of cruise lines. I've always cruised on Carnival because that's where I've found the best deals.

Jacketwatch-Thank you so much! I'll tell you all about NCL when I return! I"m curious about freestyle dining and cruising.

Skipper-Thank you so much for your feedback on the Sky. I've heard the difference in the size of the cabins. I hope that we're not too shocked. My brother's girlfriend went with us on Carnival Liberty. After that , she went on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the seas, and could not believe how small the cabins were.

RCI's older ships all did have small staterooms. Majesty of the Seas was they ship we did our Honeymoon cruise on 17 years ago, so she has always been special to us. As best I can recall the Sky staterooms were not that small.

There are a lot of very beautiful public areas on the Sky. I think you will have a ball.

Thank you so much DebbieandJerry! The cabins do not matter to me at all. That's the only main difference that I've heard between Carnival and NCL the size of the cabins and freestyle dining and cruising. I always book an inside when I go with my friends, but my mom and family members must have a balcony.

It's so convenient living so close to the port. I live 30 minutes away, When I take a weekend cruise, I take a half day off from work on Friday, and a half day off on Monday. Usually I'm off the ship by 8:00 so I can work the whole day, but sometimes I don't want to risk it because of customs and immigration. I'm a teacher, and my summer vacation starts tomorrow. Today was the last day.
