DebbieandJerry
I did once and I will never do it again. I had a personal training client that wanted a silver bracelet so I waited for the "sale". You pay extra for the clasp. You pay extra for them to make the bracelet or necklace. So, by the time I purchased the "sale" bracelet, I paid more for the darn thing than if I had purchased a silver bracelet at one of the ports of call. Oh, since her wrist was rather large, the ship had to "up" the silver to the next inch. In other words, they wouldn't make it to the size that she wanted, we had to get it bigger. (Kinda like asking the butcher for 1/2 lb. of deli meat and he gets carried away and says, Opps, it's .60 oz and you say "okay". But in this case it was rounded to the next inch.) Shaunna
I confess I did it our first cruise. I seriously doubt I'll do it again.
sailingrose
My DD bought her BF a silver chain that way........looks pretty good and he's happy with it. The gold stuff isn't real gold........
Gymbrat333
Yes, I stood in line for the longest time waiting to purchase bracelets and necklaces for family members, and they loved them. They asked for more the next time I went on a cruise. I never wore the bracelet that I bought for myself.
rogue
I did it once, but will never do it again. The stuff was gold plated with very cheap gold. If its too good to be true, then it probably isn't
