Carnival Past Guest Pins

It was just posted on John Heald's blog that Carnival is reinstating the past guest pins for Platinum members only. A Platinum member is one with 10 or more cruises. The pins are usually given out at the Past Guest Party.

The pins that are shaped like the smoke stack and have the name of the ship on it, can be purchased at the gift shop, no price has been given.

well don't that just really suck scum water! LOL Hubby and I got past guest pins FOR freaking free (and we don't use that word in our house) on our last cruise (only # 2), and I put one of them on Crazie! .......she was entitled, she had never been on the Esctasy and it WAS a tradition!!! oh well...just "ADIMN!" LOL anyone needing a translation that means...just "Another Day In My Neighborhood...kinda become my "thing" on CruiseCrazies...be it good or bad, don't really know! LOL I guess it depends on the phase of the moon and which family is here or whatever! LOL

have a good day all, and please...all of the above is meant in GOOD HUMOR! :cool2:

This subject has been back and forth on most of the Web sites that deal with cruising. There are positive and negative responses all over. Believe it or not, most of them are discarded on the ship. Housekeeping reports finding them in waste baskets. The carnival blog has been going through this for sometime. I am one of the people who loves this pin as is my wife. We scrapbook every trip and the pin is in every book.

How much could it possibly cost?

And when it is sold in the gift shop(no $ amount has been announced) how much could they possibly charge. I do hear they are thinking about something else for past guests, What could be less expensive than a pin??????????
