GottaCruz
Something you can do is the Jungle Queen Riverboat. I'm sure they'll have info on that at your hotel. If you have an evening, you could do the Dinner Cruise at 6 Pm. It's all the ribs, chicken and shrimp you can eat with a variety show. You eat on the Tropical Isle on the New River. If time doesn't allow, you could do the 3 hour daily sightseeing cruise and 9:30 or 1:30 . They show you Millionaires Row, Indian Village, alligator exhibit , birds and Monkeys. The price of the dinner cruise is 39.95. The price for the 3 hour cruise is 17.50. I'm getting all this info from an ad I just cut out from the Sun Sentinel here in So. Florida. I'm living here many years and I'm finally getting around to doing this soon. You can go to the website at www.junglequeen.com. Hope this helps. Whenever we do this, I'll be sure to write it up and let you all know how it goes . It must be pretty good, as the ad says it's been a Ft. Lauderdale tradition for over 60 years. We know a lot of people who have done it and loved it and went back on many times for celebrations or with out of town visitors. GottaCruz
Another great thing to do is to check out the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood. It's an awesome place to spend some time. The restaurants are great, the memorabilia is amazing and the casino is all over the place. There are all kinds of clubs for nightlife and it's just a great place even if you just want to hang out and do some dancing in the area off the lobby . There is always a live band there in the evening. Even during the day, it's busy and interesting.
rogue
We actually did the Jungle Queen Riverboat about 25 years ago. It's amazing that it's still around. We really enjoyed it. Amazing how many people were our in their backyard's waving to everyone on the boat. Good recommendation.
