jacketwatch
Carnival has a bon voyage dept. thru which you can order alcohol for in cabin use. So for our upcoming NE/Canada cruise I ordered a nice bottle of single malt Scotch at a very reasonable price. This feature is no on their website though you can order other logo items and such but yes you can have alcohol in your cabin.

You used to be able to order once on board and the prices were quite generous. I recall getting one L Absolut vodka for $20.00. Now the selection is much smaller, the volumes are too and the prices are alot more. The Scotch I ordered is a one L single malt, Glenmorangie for $70.00. Not bad at all. deb1220
I've done this with wine before on Princess and Royal Caribbean but didn't know you could order liquor also. Thanks!
