Caribbean Princess

Just joined this website and excited to find so many people that love to cruise. My husaband and I are getting ready to head to San Juan, PR for a Southern Caribbean sailing on the Caribbean Princess, 11/08/09. We have been on 8-10 crusies and are looking forward to seeing some new ports.

If anyone is booked on the same cruise, would love to hear from you!!!

Hi Welcome aboard! I sailed on the Caribbean Princess several years ago and had a wonderful time. Hope you find others sailing with you. A group of us are sailing on the Constellation the same time your on the Caribbean Princess......maybe we'll cross paths.

We sailed on the Caribbean Princess mid October (Ft Lauderdale to Eastern Caribbean) right before the November elections for Bush - round 1. Made for very interesting table discussions.

We loved everything about the ship. We had a balcony. We had 5 rooms total (family and friends) and had the room steward open the balconies so that we could walk down and visit everyone. Even the neighbors that weren't with our group were very friendly and balcony accommodating.

This is the ship where we would spend hours up by the pool buffet just visiting with folks that we had met that morning. One day we actually never left from breakfast through lunch.

This was also our first exposure to optional dining. Two of the couples that we met had the optional dining. We invited them to join us for second formal night. Our waiter was really accommodating about it (having notified him a few days in advance). Our table for 10 quickly and efficiently became a table for 12.

This was our first exposure to movie under the stars. We loved it. Romantic yet kinda like a drive in theater.

We would definitely sail on the Caribbean Princess again.
