JandJ
We are booked on NCL Gem sailing out of NYC on Dec. 19, 2009 just wondering if you had any inside information concerning the Gem. Any ins or outs that we might need to know.
lindasuelucas
i don't but a friend at work won a family cruise on her a little time back. he and the wife had a blast!! they are cruisers themselves so this was nothing new to them. i don't remember where all they went but i saw all the photos and where ever they were it was gorgeous. some where in the caribbean. they had a lot of port days and on sea days they all (all the cruisers on board) went crazy!! he included photos on ship...and did they have a great time!! i don't think there was anything they didn't get involved in. the ship parts they showed (most of the ship) were beautiful. it was terrific to see so many laughing faces. he and wife returned as paying customers because they had such a fabulous time. just make up your mind to have the best time ever on one of the best ships ever. that's from hoggenbom my friend at work. GottaCruz
Don't forget to check out the Passenger Meeting Hall and the Roll Call. You just might find some members cruising with you. Or, they might find you. Great to see you posting and welcome.
murr
We have been doing alot of reading on this ship. It's one of the newer and has a great reputation. Go to "Cruise Critics" and read the reviews. Check out the time and date when you want to go. I use this as a reference for all our cruises. We laugh at how 2 people on the same cruise have conflicting views. One gives it a 5 star and the other 2 stars. We are thinking of going on March of 2011. We are thinking of a mini-suite. Good luck.
