Pre-cruise hotel

We are cruising out of Puerto Rico next july and was wondering if anyone has some good or bad recomendations. No kids along this time just 2 adults and 2 seniors who have great mobility. Any help appreciated. thanx...sparki

Well I have two different places booked in March. One on the beach before we leave, and one near the aiport on our way back. I can't really speak for either one yet, but can do a review when we get back.

For a beach front location try the Intercontinental. We stayed there and liked very much. The Sheraton Old San Juan is also very nice. There is no beach but its next to the dock. Many folks simply walk from their rooms to the ship to embark. However there is a 2nd dock further away though its a short cab ride. Its very close to some nice restaurants in OSJ too.

along with the info you already have you may wish to contact longboysfan to see what he recomends.  he's been to puerta rica from what i understand many times.  give it a try it can't hurt...
