Jason
I'm excited to announce the release of the new and improved CruiseCrazies Photos. The new system offers a much more robust, efficient, simple to use, and feature-rich experience....making it much easier and more fun to share your cruise photos with friends, family, and the CruiseCrazies community. For example, it's now much easier to upload photos, many photos can be uploaded simultaneously, and new features such as photo tagging and commenting brings more fun and usefulness to your cruise photos. All existing member photos are available in the new CruiseCrazies Photos. There are lots of new features now available, here they are: Unlimited Albums - You're only limit is the amount of space purchased. Privacy Options - There are various privacy settings which can be customized to allow only specific user groups to view and perform specific actions with your photos. In other words, you get to decide who is permitted to view your albums, make comments, and tag your photos. Comments - Add notes, remarks, or stories to photos. The photo owner can moderate comments and receive email notifications when new comments are received. Simple Simultaneous Upload - The simple upload process allows 50 photos to be uploaded at a time, regardless of photo size! Photo Tagging - Identify people or objects within your photos by tagging specific parts of each photo. Assign a piece of information to a specific area of a photo. This provides the ability to identify people, objects, or any other pieces of information within the photo. For example, if a person's face is tagged in a photo, that person's name will appear when the cursor is placed over the person's face. When members are tagged within photos, the photos are then displayed as part of their profile, in addition to the profile photo. Upload Efficiency - The new CruiseCrazies Photos reduces the size of each photo (without reducing quality) much more efficiently, so you will now be able to upload more photos within the same amount of storage space. Editing Photos - Edit photo titles, captions, delete photos, rotate photos, and arrange within albums. Editing Albums - Edit album names, descriptions, move photos between albums, edit album covers. Share This - Direct image linking allows you to easily share your photos using the provided code in various formats: BB Code (Forums), HTML embedded images, HTML text links, and Direct url links. Automatic Image Resizing - If a photo's dimensions are too large, it will be resized automatically while maintaining its original aspect ratio. This also means no loss in quality. Various File Extension Support - Photos may be uploaded using any of the following file formats: jpg, gif, jpeg, png, bmp. Automatic Thumbnails - Thumbnails are automatically generated and stored for all uploaded photos. Additional Space - Available upon request.
