Ellie
I agree with you, MaryLou....14 days is a long time, especially for those of us who are employed. Have not heard many good reports about NCL. Just my opinion. Good thing we have a year to plan this....looks like it isn't going to be easy. Good Luck! murr
To long for us.
cruisetarp
I thought it might be too long especially for those still working, but I said I would put out any information I found. I'm very suprised that Celebrity doesn't have anything shorter. I know this year they are doing a couple of 7 day cruises there. As far as NCL goes - I have heard some unfavorable things about them but also heard they have made many changes heading in the right direction. I guess I will find out for myself in June. I'll let everyone know then.
sailingrose
14 days is definitely too long. I wonder if the 7 nighters didni't do well this year. Lets hope we get more options for shorter lengths
Shaunna
Too long and too expensive. IMHO
deb1220
It's not too long for me, but I know it would be too long for many of our working Crazies. As for NCL, I've also heard they've made some positive changes and frankly, the price matters more to me than the cruiseline. As much as Carnival and I don't get along, if it were the right price and the majority of the group agrees, I would go in a heartbeat! sailingrose
Yes the itinerary and price count but being with the Crazies is the best part............
cruisetarp
You are right Rose & Debbie - the company we keep is more important than the company we will eventually sail with. I must admit I'm with Debbie on the length though - I don't think there is a cruise that is too long in my opinion. Once I park myself on the lounge chair - who cares how long I'm away. lol If only we could win the lottery.
Shaunna
LOL... Well I didn't mean that I wouldn't LOVE to take a cruise that long just we couldn't afford to take a cruise that long. Steve could probably even manage the time off. I'd of course still think about it but my hopes of getting a balcony would be gone unless we could get some way better pricing.
