Welcome aboard Howard - it will be great to cruise with you and Cindy again. You have a great cabin - Jim & I have sailed on Explorer 3 times and had that cabin every time.

Well, we did it! Cabin #7612...at the beginning of the hump. I've NEVER booked this far in advance before....

I booked it on the RCI website also.

Ok. We've been reading everything, and you all convinced us. Cindy and I booked one of the aft cabins, 9692. This is the same as Rose, on the other side. it will be great cruising with the group again.

This is going to be an awesome cruise meeting everyone! We have never been to any of the ports, either, and will have to pick your brain, Deb! Half the fun of going is the planning!

Deb - We can sure use all the help we can get. Helping us on the ports will be great. I can pull my files and tell you what we did on our two cruises up there. Lots of research to do, but plenty of time to do it.

I've never been on the Explorer but have been on Adventure. I assume since they're sister ships that they are very similar.

Deb - I have never been on the Adventure but been on both Explorer and Voyager. All three are the same class of ship and the Explorer and Voyager were very similar.

Yes Debbie they are exactly the same, I've been on both Adventure and Explorer. Looking forward to meeting Zack this time around. What is Evin going to do?

We've been to the two Canadian ports, and have visited Boston on a land tour. the rest are new ports for us.

We haven't ever sailed from Cape liberty, but have sailed from both Manhattan and Brooklyn. For us, the terminal is only about an hour away. An easy drive.

One thing that sold us on this cruise was that we could drive there. It might take us 2 days but at least we don't have to fly!

Rose, we haven't figured out what Evin will do. My brother lives nearby in the same city, so we thought maybe he could check up on him. It's a ways away....I'm sure we'll figure something out.
