I just researched some average temps for each of the ports but each and every one of them said these averages can vary quite a bit in September (on the warm side) especially in Nova Scotia.

Portland, Maine - September Avg. Low = 48; Avg. High = 69.

Bar Harbor, Maine - September's Avg. Temp. = 59.

St. John, New Brunswick- Avg. Fall Temp = 56.

Halifax, Nova Scotia - Avg. Fall Low = 41......Avg. Fall High = 68.

Boston, MA- September Avg. Low = 57....Avg. High = 72.

Ellie- I'm so excited that you and Frank are planning to go with all of us! Can't wait to meet you and Frank and Lee can commiserate about the temps. Lee doesn't understand why anyone would want to take a cruise to someplace cold!!! He's going anyway!!!

Deb- thanks for the info. It's good to know, but I'm like Rose. Don't think I will share that info with Lee....

I guess by being a native Michiganian, those temps don't look so bad to me...LOL! Who knows, Mother Nature might just fool us. And of course some members of the group are full of a lot of hot air..........never mind :biggrin: .......just kidding :blush:
