sailingrose
Welcome aboard CruiseCrazies! I haven't been on Enchantment in years so I'm not sure I can help you. If you tell us the itinerary someone here could help with that I'm sure.

sailingrose
Labadee is a beach day.......RCI owns the island. Lots of fun! St. Thomas is known for it's beaches. We have gone to several of them as well as taking the tram up to the top of the mountain. Best shopping port by far. Have not been to Dominican Republic. San Juan, not one of my favorites. Trip to the fort would be my choice.
cruznation
Enchantment is the sister ship to Grandeur. Same ship, but stretched in the middle by 70-80 feet to add more cabins and lounges. Nice ship. We'll be sailing on her next March. Labadee has a roller coaster down a small mountain and the Dragon's Breath zip line. Nice beaches and shops to buy local goods. I agree with Rose, St. Thomas is the best shopping port. I take it the port in the Dominican Republic is Samana. This is a newish port and is fairly undeveloped. We took an excursion to Las Terranas, a French town over the ridge. Frankly unimpressed. If I go again I would stay onboard and hit the spa or the pool. There are two forts in San Juan, San Cristobal and El Morro. The Barcardi Distillery tour goes to San Cristobal and the Segway tour of Old San Juan goes to El Morro. There is a Senor Frogs right by the pier at San Juan if noisy 20-something bars are your thing. I went there to watch what I could of the Cowboys/Eagles game. Lots of vacationing young women dancing on tables and chugging drinks. Maybe next time I'll stay in the Schooner bar and watch whatever game they show... . GottaCruz
We've sailed the Enchantment many times and it's been our favorite ship for the last couple of years. I did write a review but the reviews are off line at this time. Hopefully, they'll be back here soon and you can read them. We 've done many cruises and this ship was absolutely the best for us. It had been redone at some point and a new section was added to the ship. We especially loved the walking deck, the Windjammer Cafe, the new and improved pool deck , etc. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable.
