1shipshape
Mary Lou, Count Les & I in for the slot pull. Hopefully we will have more join our group as time gets closer. Les is really a T-Shirt kinda guy so he definitely wants a T-shirt. I'm still contemplating. If it was a tank top, because it's always so warm here... I would be inclined. I probably will go ahead so I can wear it at the slot pull! I have been watching airfares like a hawk! I bet others of you have been too. Last week when I checked, our tickets would have been over $900!!! Today I booked them... they were under $600. So, please check if you are flying in to EWR (Newark). We decided to come in one day earlier... on 9/13 in case we want to go in to NYC or catch a Broadway play, which we've never done... or try to go to one of Rachael Ray's tapings. That will be on the planning list for after I finish these online classes which are causing many continuous headaches! We even checked on prices for a B2B with Bermuda, but no matter where I tried, they were not a deal. Plus the TA said it is only between 60 and 68 degrees at that time of the year. Got to get to bed! Toodles!
cruisetarp
It looks like the slot putt is all set. Everyone is in. This will be great. I would suggest we schedule it for Thursday - September 16th at around 11:30. That way anyone who wants to can all go to lunch afterwards but it will still leave plenty of "pool" time in the afternoon. Is that time OK with everyone? Our other option would be Sept 21st (Wednesday) the day between Halifax & Boston
cruisetarp
Toni - If you decided on a B2B let me know. Perhaps I can persuade Jim to do one also. We LOVE Bermuda - it is our favorite port and we have been there many many times.
cruisetarp
Hector - Count Jim & I in on the shirts. We could meet somewhere and I could give you the money. Do they come in different sizes? Also, Toni was asking if they could make a tank top? Could you find that out for us. Thanks.
sailingrose
Hector Howie and I will also go for the shirts. Can you check on the quality of the t-shirt. Is it pre-shrunk 100% cotton? I'm assuming we're talking white? Toni I haven't done the airfare yet. I'm the only other one who's flying. I'll start that as soon as we make final payment. We are pretty flexible since our son will be working the office for us. Marylou the time for the slot pull is fine for us. Give everyone a chance for a late breakfast if they want. cruisetarp
I have found on past cruises that having it in the late morning works best. We had a few during the afternoon and by then everyone had found a place by the pool and didn't want to leave. Also, in the morning the casino is quieter and we will have a better choice of machines. cruisetarp
Next item on the agenda. I believe everyone but Toni & Lester have signed up for My Time Dining. What time does everyone want for dinner? Take your pick: 7:00 7:15 7:30 7:45 8:00 If we can agree on a time I think we can get one table for all of us. Otherwise if we want different times we can break up into smaller groups. Thoughts? Toni - If you decide to change from Early Seating you will need to call RC yourself to make the change but then please let us know so we can include you here.
