Haven't totally given up on this cruise. The more I read about your posts, the more I wish it weren't so darn expensive. I guess I have to realize the value of what you are getting and not what I am use to paying for a vacation. I haven't totally said "no way"

Has anyone found any other places to have our shirts made? Has anyone used some of the more popular on-line tee shirt suppliers?

Although Hector has offered to handle the ordering of shirts in the place he found he is very busy right now with his mother being ill and if we could all just order our shirts on line it would be much easier all the way around.

I hope to have some word next week about hotels in the area. Is anyone interested in a post-cruise hotel? Also does anyone have any idea how many days pre-cruise you will be in the NY/NJ area

MaryLou, I found a local t-shirt printer that also does online business. I posted it a few weeks ago and I'll see if I can find it again.

We are driving into NJ on the 14th....so we'll just need the one night.....no post-cruise...

I have just posted my review of our Explorer cruise if anyone wants to read it. The pictures will take a bit longer because I am "electronically challenged" and having trouble downloading them. I will get it done though.

MaryLou, we just read your review. Very well written--great job! We've only sailed on one RCI ship, the Rhapsody of the Seas. We have not been on a mega ship, however we will by the time the Explorer cruise comes around. We are testing the waters by booking a similar promenade inside cabin on our Freedom cruise.

Before I forget - they do open the skating rink for passengers to use but you must have long pants and socks. This might not be so important on our Canada/NE cruise as we might be packing warmer clothing but I know on the Caribbean and Bermuda cruises many are turned away because they do not have the proper clothes.
