I have good news and bad news. The good news is that my son is getting married next year. We never expected that to happenwall.gif. The bad news is that the wedding will be right after the cruise, so we've decided to cancel. We're both very disappointed and really wish you all a great, great cruise. I'll keep track along the way and try to help if ever I can.
Howard, congratulations on your son's upcoming wedding! We will miss finally getting to met you and Cindy, however we understand fully. Family always comes first!

Hello Everyone;  I am getting excited about next year's Cruise. I have a couple of questions, What is Slot Pull? and where is the benefit walk taking place Rose? As far as the excursions are concern I am game for anything that provide me with a photo opportunity. Howard sorry to hear about you not being with us next year, but congrats on your Son's wedding. Hopefully there will be more cruises to meet you on.salut.gif

I've never done a slot pull. Sounds like a great experience! Make a Wish Walk... do we do that on board the ship or in our local area? I've never seen it done, so more info, please.

Howard and Cindy: Wishing you congratulations on your son's upcoming wedding. Hopefully we will get to meet you onboard in the future. Keep us posted!

Hector - I'm sure there will be many many photo ops for you.

We did the slot pull on the Connie Goes Crazie Cruise and had a great time. This is how it works: Everyone who wants to play puts up $21- We pick a $1 machine with a max of 3 coins and the first player puts their $21 in and takes 7 turns. When they are finished the 2nd person does the same, etc. The machine keeps accumulating the money - it isn't taken out after each turn. Once everyone is finished playing the machine is cashed out and the money is divided equally among all the players. OK we didn't do too well on the Connie cruise - quickly turning $21 into only a few dollars but we sure had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun.

As far as the walk goes it is done on the ship at an appointed time. I'm sure Rose can tell you more about it as I haven't seen one done yet.

The cruise line usually does the walk on the last sea day and it is held on deck 12. Now some don't walk, they just donate the $10 and get the t-shirt but we walk the mile......good exercise and a good cause! It will also burn a martini or 2 off! LOL

Count us in on the walk.

I would love to do the slot pull again. It was a lot of fun!

Howard and Cindy, we will miss you but totally understand. Congrats to your son and future DIL!

The pub crawl sounds like fun too!

Could I suggest a game day also?.....Scrabble, cards or whatever board games they have onboard.....or that some of us could bring to share....
