Hello all Crazies Explorers! The reason we have not been posting here is because of an event that took place recently. Our business partner, who has never been involved in the day to day operation, had a very debilitating stroke. To make a long story short, he no longer will be able to sign checks and other documents for our company. His prognosis is not good. That just leaves myself and my Step-Dad. He and my Mom will be on a European Vacation at the time of the cruise, so that now just leaves me. We canceled the cruise today once we received the final word. We may try to book something else for late Sept or early Oct, 2011.

Keith - I am so sorry to hear about your partner. I was really looking forward to meeting you and Rita but of course your other obligations come first. Hopefully we will cruise together in the futue.

I was just thinking......Eleven months ago, those of us that went on the Connie cruise, were on the Conne......AND 11 months from now we'll be on the Explorer. Since I don't have any other cruises planned, this makes me feel better, since it just seems like yesterday that I was on the Connie.....Does that make any sense?...LOL!

So... have you all heard about the "bed bug" scare out in NYC???? and it seems everywhere else this year? Many people are canceling various activities because they are in the hotel rooms and the theaters. Have you ever heard of this happening before? EEWWWWWW
