OK Crazies.   My review has been written and posted.   Just typing it has raised my blood pressure and I'm sure I left a lot of things out but for what it is worth it is in the Review section under "The good and the very bad."

OMG! If your BP went up writing that I went into shock w/ mouth agape reading it. It must have felt like this: wall.gif Sorry to hear of this waste of time and money and I just an't believe they don't use comment cards. naughty.gif. Its a shame. NCL has improved but evidently they still have gaps to fill to be on a level w/ other mass market lines.

So, tell us what you really thought about your cruise, MaryLou. I am so sorry that you had the experience that you did. I have never cruised with NCL, and now will probably stay away for ever.

Larry - I had read so many good things about NCL and went determined to have a great cruise.      They didn't deliver on their end but I still got to spend some great "alone" time with my daughter and granddaughter.   I have every intention of following up on this and my TA has already been in contact with them.   Don't know what good it will do as according to my TA they will probably only offer me credit towards a future cruise if anything at all and I have NO intention of sailing NCL again.

MaryLou so sorry you had a really bad cruise with NCL. All I can say is that when we sailed on the Star to Alaska it was wonderful from start to finish. Has a few problems but they were correct immediately. Our room stewards couldn't do enough to keep us happy. Our room was always made up by the time we got back from breakfast which was usually by 10 am. Mind you we have been on only one cruise but for the first one it was as close to perfect for us.

When we went to the dining room for dinner we never had to wait in line for a table and most of the time we got a table by the windows.

I am not trying to convice you to try them again just giving you my opinion and treatment on our cruise with NCL. We will sail on a NCL ship again, YES, in a heartbeat.

By the way your review was very good with highlights of the good and the BAD.

Falina - I am so glad you enjoyed your NCL cruise and did not have the issues we had. Every once in a while you hit a cruise where things just don't go the right way and this one was full of them. I'd like to think that our cruise was the exception rather than the rule as far as NCL goes but I'm not willing to try again.

     Actually a friend of mine had a very bad time on the NCL Hawaiian cruise and they did offer him a future cruise credit but like you who wants to cruise again after an experience like that. He said he would not go w/ NCL even if they paid him
