DebbieandJerry
We've never sailed out of Gavelston, but we have sailed pretty much during each month. As stated, the captain will keep the ship out of harms' way. We were only divereted Western Caribbean (from and Eastern purchase) once and that was years ago (I think October). Xmas and New Years sailings are more expensive. We sailed over Thanksgiving and had a blast. We've also sailed Dec 7 to Dec 17 and it was really fun seeing the ship getting decorated for Xmas. Our first cruise was February; next one September. Then all of the others have been when we have saved enough money and needed a vacation. Hope you will fall in love with cruising like we have. coloradocruisers
Welcome. We only sailed out of Galveston once, and it was in late May. If your planning on driving, you can save a little on parking by pre-paying on the Port of Galveston website. I don't have the link, but you should be able to Google it. Also, that road from Houston to Galveston can get backed up, especially on Friday and Saturday. Allow yourself plenty of time. Have fun!
