cruisetarp
Thanks Debbie. I saw the ferry docks on the map but really couldn't remember where the cruise ships docked in relation to the ferry terminal.

deb1220
We were just watching a show about a gentleman traveling around Canada. He spent a great deal of time in Halifax. While there he visited the Pier 21 Museum. That's where European immigrants came to Canada (like Ellis Island in the U.S). Anyway....that's where the cruise ships dock. Long story short....it's about 8 - 10 blocks from the brewpub/restaurant that I mentioned.

deb1220
It was a nice site.....but I didn't see any tour companies listed. For those interested in a Peggy's Cove excursion. Actually the best one I've found is through the cruise line for $40 pp. As I mentioned in the Roll Calls forum, the one private tour company I found does not operate tours on Tuesday. cruisetarp
This is a tour I found for us in Halifax. It seems to cover all the high spots and the company (yourcab.ca) has a very good reputation: He will supply a 15 person van so we can all travel together. The tour you have suggested is great and the duration is equally great. Our rate for the Peggy`s Cove/Halifax City tour is $54 per person and the duration of tour is 4.5hrs. W will tour The Point Pleasant Park, The Public Gardens, The Citadel Fortress, The Titanic Cemetery and many more in Halifax. We will tour Peggy`s Cove and area and stop for lunch at a little quint fishing village(not Peggy`s Cove, too touristy). Please feel free to compare our rates with that of the cruise ship`s. We focus mainly on you our client. Thank you again for the mail and I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Yours truly. THOUGHTS PLEASE! If you are interested I will put a hold on the date
