I like it Marylou. Small tours allow you to see so much more then the cruise ship tours.

It does look much better than the cruise ship excursion. We've been there a couple times and it is so scenic and beautiful! I don't think we're going on any tours this cruise.....unless something comes up that's irresistable :biggrin:

Hector - the cost is $54 per person - tour is approx. 4.5 hours long and will visit all the high spots as well as Peggy's Cove which I think you will love.

This is a tour I found for us in Halifax. It seems to cover all the high spots and the company (yourcab.ca) has a very good reputation: He will supply a 15 person van so we can all travel together.

The tour you have suggested is great and the duration is equally great.

Our rate for the Peggy`s Cove/Halifax City tour is $54 per person and the duration of tour is 4.5hrs. W will tour The Point Pleasant Park, The Public Gardens, The Citadel Fortress, The Titanic Cemetery and many more in Halifax.

We will tour Peggy`s Cove and area and stop for lunch at a little quint fishing village(not Peggy`s Cove, too touristy).

Please feel free to compare our rates with that of the cruise ship`s. We focus mainly on you our client.

Hector - I will let you know about payment as soon as I hear from the entire group and know how many people are going. Generally, payment isn't due until we take the tour. Glad you will be joining us.

Ok Mary Lou, I am getting the cameras ready! Are we doing any excursions in Maine? I've never been there, so it would be nice to go see places that I can photograph... :cool2:
