dino1pa
ok Mary Lou, I will check on the shirts, but with only 10 shirts needed they might be a bit pricey. If they get to cost in the neighborhood of $20.00 will they be affordable? I will a price and allow everyone to decide weather or not they would like to purchase them. cruisetarp
Hector - Once you get the price we can decide if we want to continue. I realize it could get expensive with only a few shirts being ordered and we may want to rethink this whole thing.

1shipshape
I know we want to do at least part of the Freedom Trail. Do we ride the HoHo for that? If it's a nice day, the Boston Commons park sounds lovely. How much is this trolley ticket to get off and on? I know my sister & her DH went to Harvard and were impressed. But I don't think I need that education fix.
sailingrose
Here's the website.........for the Trolley http://www.trolleyto...uise-guests.asp http://www.trolleytours.com/boston/images/boston-mass-map1.pdf This tour is $38.00 per person and can be done as a group or individually. The map will give you an idea of the stops. During cruise season there is a stop right near the port (17A). It is slightly cheaper if you purchase it online but I'd choose to wait in case of bad weather. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WILL BE A CROWDED PORT! I did check into a couple of private tours but the cost is prohibitive for our small group so we think this is the best bang for our buck here. We could go as a group or set off on your own. Rose - I may be missing something on the map but I don't see a ticket booth near the cruise ship port. If they don't have one there we would have to take a cab into town to buy our tickets before starting out.

We can either meet up and go together or we can do this individually. The stop for the cruise port is 17A on the map. The walk is anywhere from 1.5 to 3 city blocks according to the company and it depends upon where the Explorer dock. You can buy tickets at the trolley the day of the tour if you wish Edited April 2, 2011 by sailingrose
deb1220
I'm still trying to talk Zack into this tour. I may just go on it without him...LOL! I was looking at all the stops and, most places, we have never been to....and the price can't be beat...
sailingrose
I like this tour because you can get on and off where you want or not at all. If you do it with the cruiseline you can't hop on and hop off, it's a straight tour.
