Cruising to Bermuda - We Hope

We are supposedly leaving for Bermuda in a week.  Does anyone know if Bermuda cruises ever get cancelled outright due to the hurricanes or  can they usually find somewhere else to go?  And if they do cancel outright, when do they usually make that decision?    Getting worried.....

They don't outright cancel cruises because of hurricanes. They will divert the ship to another port or just stay at sea. Check with your cruiseline for details of any changes on their website.

Thanks, Sailing Rose....am watching the website but I'm sure it's too early. As long as I'm on the ship I'll be happy! We were diverted from one port on our June cruise, but since this is a straight shot from New York to Bermuda I didn't know where they would go if a hurricane came up the east coast. Even just at sea for 7 days is fine with me!

We were totally diverted one year but didn't find out until the day we sailed. Of course we went. The captain will find a route that is out of harm's way. Just think, you might end up somewhere totally different. How exciting

Which ship?  We have friends on the Celeberity Summit to Bermuda this coming Sunday.   We were many years ago re-routed to the Canadian itinerary by NCL...many upset people.. we were cruising on the NCL Sea out of NYC
