Cruise must haves

 I check out the packing list (nice one), and it looks pretty comprehensive.

I see that many of you are very experienced cruisers, and I want to pick your brains - any must haves?

This is my 2nd cruise, and on the first we brought

clothes pin for the drapes

highlighter for what we didn't want to miss on board

power strip

drink mugs w/lids

over the door shoe holder

battery charger for camera batteries

Silly question time - do you use "stickem" ( kinda like chewing gum ) to hang it? I think its a great idea - all the doors looked the same be good to have mine stand out!@@!

Cork screw for the two bottles of wine you can take on board.

1. Binoculars.

2. I usually "sneak" on my own booze. Shhhh.

3. Our own snacks.

4. My own coffee and a French press.

We glued to the back a couple of flat magnetic strips you can get at craft stores.

Our last ship, Carnival Fantasy, had a wood faced door, however the edge fit under the trim.

Oh-I have some of that stuff, and I guess I could pack the stickem in case I have a wood door. And binoculars...yes!

I use the stickum for the door signs. Works well.

Other things that we pack are salty snacks. For some reason, the ships don't have them. We usually make a Walgreens run at the port before leaving!
