No but generally speaking we usually do excursions on our own. In hawaii I would bet its easy to rent a car in port and go off and explore. However if you prefer to have a guide I would start with a google search for private tours guides. I would think there will be plenty to choose from. Good luck. Larry

We've been to Hawaii twice: NCL and Celebrity. Each time we did excursions on our own.

In Oahu, the second time we were there, we took the city bus (I think all of $2) and toured on the bus. You get one transfer for free. The entire round trip is 4 hours long. The bus driver was WONDERFUL and even stopped at a stop that wasn't on the schedule for us. The first time we rented a car. Car rental is easy and cheap. The ride to north shore (where the huge waves are) can take awhile because it's one lane of traffic.

In Maui, the first time, we booked our luau on our own through the internet. Same luau, just less money. Second time in Maui we skipped the luau and went whale watching. Again, on our own through the internet.

On the big island, we did the volcano tour through the internet (included transportation and lunch) the first time. We went to the gardens, Akika Falls and something else the second time. (We walked there) On the other side, both times we took the same zodiac/snorkel tour. Again, through the internet.

There is a free bus that will take you to Hattie's (or whatever it's called) on every island. No matter where we stopped, we walked most of the time. It's a very easy place to walk.

If you have enough time, definitely try and see the lavender fields in Maui. We didn't get to do that either time and I really want to return. It's in "Up Country".

I highly recommend doing things "on your own" in Hawaii.
